"Show Business." This gives dancers an insight on commercial, film,
auditions, and how to get into "Show Business."

Intro to Dance

Intro to dance is a class for 21/2 year old students. This class offers creative movement, rhythm, and self-assurance. The program has been highly successful. The season is filled with excitement. The instructors will prepare them for the Pre-Dance program.

Pre-Dance

This is a specially designed class for students age 3. This class improves coordination, confidence, rhythm, and dance. Our program has proven to be outstanding for young dancers! A remarkable growth progress is made for dancers in our Pre-Dance session. They are truly our stars!

Tap

Tap offers a great sense of rhythm. It is recommended that young dancers start in this area of dance. Tap helps develop coordination, rhythm, balance, and personal skills. Beginners can start at any age. Excellent for ages 4 through adult.

Jazz

Jazz is a strong form of dance. It offers exercise, body control, enthusiasm, and gives the dancer a great sense of balance and physical awareness.  Jazz is for dancers age 6 and above. Beginners can start at any age in their own age group. Dancers age 5 with a couple of years of tap and continuing tap, can also take a jazz class based upon teacher recommendation.

Ballet

Ballet is the basis of all dance. Ballet helps to enhance all areas of dance. Ballet provides balance and fluid movement. It is best to add Ballet in other dance forms. Ballet gives a dancer excellent technique, poise, and poster. Ballet and Pre-Ballet are offered starting at age 4. Beginners can start at any age in their own age group.

Pointe

Pointe is the dancer with a strong Ballet background. A dancer needs to be tested in technique before working on Pointe. Pointe work can be started at about age 12 or upon technique development. Pre-Pointe can be started at a younger age upon a teacher recommendation.

Pilates

Pilates is open not just to our dancers, but also the public. Some benefits are: longer, leaner muscles (less bulk, more freedom of movement), improves postural problems, increases core strength/stability and peripheral mobility, helps prevent injury, enhances functional fitness, ease of movement, balances strength & flexibility, heightens body awareness, no-impact - easy on the joints, can be customized for everyone from rehab patients to elite athletes, complements other methods of exercise, improves performance in sports (golf, skiing, skating, dance, etc.), improves balance, coordination & circulation

Modern

Modern is an art form that crosses between Jazz and Ballet. Modern is best if a dancer has a strong Jazz and Ballet background. Once technique and dance understanding is accomplished, Modern can help finish the dance package. Modern is used for an older dancer.

Hip Hop / Urban Jazz

Hip Hop / Urban Jazz is a dance form that is constantly changing. Our instructors travel to New York and Los Angeles on a regular basis to keep up with the newest dance styles. Hip Hop is a current style that we used in many Urban Jazz classes. Hip Hop / Urban Jazz is for a student in middle school or above. The students are sure to have a great dance party in every class. Unlike a typical hip hop class, they will be learning the most current dance styles on a regular basis. In 2007 Dance Dynamics began a Hip Hop / Urban Jazz program for younger students. This is a carefully designed program to provide age appropriate and proper style techniques for the Dance Dynamics students.

Pre-Professional Program

This class series is for the serious, advanced student. There are several levels of the program. They range from elementary through high school ages. The program is strictly for furthering intensive dance training. Most dancers in the program are also in the dynamic dancers performing company. The dancers meet about three to four days per week for training. There is a brochure for this program for those interested.  Please feel free to request a brochure to be mailed to you at dancedynamicsMI@aol.com . This program is offered year round.

Musical Theater

Musical Theater is a fun class for recreational students who love to sing and dance. This is a seasonal class that is offered throughout the year.

Ballroom

Currently Dance Dynamics offers ballroom classes to advanced students. There are also ballroom dance parties for students and adults. Ballroom classes include the style and technique related to the popular ballroom dancing.
